Swan Brothers started in 1955 and has grown from a fertiliser supply and spreading company to a multi-disciplinary agribusiness including bulk road transport, beef, lucerne, seed and grain production.

Based in Meningie, South Australia, Swan Brothers is a trusted business partner to many pasture and cropping enterprises that operate within a 100km radius of our primary depot.

Over our sixty five years, Swan Brothers has grown, and adapted to many farming challenges and innovations. In the early days, Archie and his son David worked to clear land and spread bagged fertiliser with a re-conditioned army tank.

Later, as technology moved to high input and high till cropping we introduced 4WD vehicles to our fleet.

During, the early 2000’s we moved towards pasture renovation and planting of deep rooted perennials to improve pasture productivity and returns.

More recently, we have introduced variable rate application of fertiliser and other ameliorants to improve crop and pasture production.
